  1. How do I include my current computer's IP address on the signup form so that I can access the proxies from my web browser?

Answer: After you've entered your email and name on the signup form, (click here to signup) you'll see 4 boxes titled "Comptuer/Server IP" 1-4. Our website automatically gets your IP address and provides it in the first box, for your convenience. If you make an error typing your IP, simply click the "Get My IP" button and the correct IP will be automatically entered on the form.

  2. I'm not using my regular computer, and I don't know it's IP - so how do I proceed with the signup process?

Answer: Don't worry. For the time being, leave the IP in Box 1 alone and fill in your other computer/server IPs in the other boxes. When you return to your main computer, login to the Member's Section and edit your IP list to reflect your main computer's IP address. If our service is not displaying your IP, a good website to find out what your IP is: www.whatsmyip.org.

  3. How do I access the Proxy lists onced I've signed up?

Answer: First of all, make sure your computer's IP ( or server Ips ) are registered in the system. The procedure is described in questions 1 and 2 above. Once you've paid your membership fee, all you have to do is copy and paste your personalized Proxy URLs into a server script or your web browser to see the proxy lists. Note, your URL should be in the form of www.[thisproxysite].com/members/XX-[randomstringofcharacters]/[type of proxy].php, where "XX" is your 2-4 digit member number folder. Once you've entered your URL, simply specify what type of proxies you want to view by adding "elite.php", "codeen.php", or "all.php" after your folder. Your URLs are displayed in your Member's section, and were also emailed to you after signup.

  4. I didn't get any email from your service? What's up?

Answer: The most common reason why you did not receive your signup, password retrieval, or support query email is because our response may have ended up in your "Spam" or "Bulk Box" folder. Please check this folder carefully, and when you have found our email, mark it as "not spam", or add our email address to your "allowed" list to receive future email correspondence.

  5. I am viewing the proxy lists in my broswer, and they're not listed one per line. How am I supposed to use them in this format?

Answer: Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers will display our proxies separated by one space each. We realize this is not a convenient way to list proxies. So, to get the proxies listed one per line, simply right-click anywhere on the page, and then "view page source" ( or similar command for your browser ). Your browser will then present a view of the code on the page, where you'll see the proxies conveniently spaced line by line from top to bottom. Simply copy and paste to your applications from this source view page.

  6. Do the lists download to servers spaced line by line?

Answer: Yes, review question #5 above. Even though they may appear separated by one spacebar in your browser, downloading the list directly from our site to your server will produce a line by line list. We recommend using PHP file_get_contents, Curl, PERL LWP, or a Linux server's WGET command to download the lists to your server. All you have to do is specify your personalized download URL at the appropriate location in your server script.

  7. How often do the lists update?

Answer: At present time, our lists update 8 times per day, usually every 3 hours. Most proxies remain active for 2-3 hours, so there is no need to update more frequently. As our service grows, we'll provide faster updates at no extra cost. PLEASE, do not "hang" or otherwise direct constant automated requests to our server to get the latest proxy lists. This type of bandwidth abuse will not be tolerated. If you are found to be abusing our server, we will terminate your membership and NO REFUND will be offered.

  8. What is the "best" type of proxy to use?

Answer: This depends on what your needs are. Transparent proxies work great for pinging blogs, although you should remember that Transparent proxies forward your request to the Ping site, which might devulge your IP in some cases. For anonymous browsing, Anonymous Proxies and Elite proxies are highly recomended. You can also use these proxies for automated SEO tasks, like checking rankings in the major search engines. We also supply a list of CoDeen proxies, plus a list of all usable proxies combined which you can recheck yourself if necessary.

  9. Why do you include CoDeen (Planet Lab) Proxies in your service?

Answer: Generally speaking, CoDeen proxies or Planet Lab proxies are public proxies offered by educational institutions or research centers. Most of the time, these proxies are not usable. There are, however, some cases when CoDeen proxies will get categorized as "Elite" proxies because they allow our server to browse the web anonymously. So, in order to include the most Elite proxies possible, we include CoDeen results because a few of the IPs might function as Elite proxies for you. Conversely, you might find that some of our Elite proxies are actually CoDeen proxies. You can use these proxies as normal, but remember that in most cases, you won't be able to send large amounts of data or ping requests through a CoDeen proxy.

  10. Do you offer any other payment methods besides Paypal.com?

Answer: At this time, we only offer Paypal, but we intend to add Moneybookers.com for customers in Europe or other countries that are not eligible for Paypal. Other payment methods are being explored as well, so check back to our site on a frequent basis to see when new processors are available.

You can then instantly begin using the proxy lists again.

  13. I forgot my email login, how do I get it back?

Answer: If you forgot the email you used, we suggest attempting to login to the service using the login form at the upper right hand corner of this page using your regular email address or addresses. If this doesn't work, go to our Signup Page and attempt to join the service again using the email you thought you used to initially signup. If this email is in our system, you'll get an error message stating "Email is already Registered, please login". After this, all you have to do is attempt to login using this email address and your password. If you forgot your password also, go to the "lost password" page and enter the email address that was reported in our system, and your password will be sent to this address. Don't forget to check your Spam or Bulk Box for our automated email.
